Artist's Comments

Image is meant to be fantasy and surreal and not be realistic. I don't know why she's by a boat either. Maybe she's waiting to charm the man who owns it. I just loved the imagery.

Wings: fractals, turned into paint brushes, turned into wings. Inspired by the Sk brush series of wings online. When I find the link again, I'll put it up :)

The model is the beautiful *auralis-stock

The rest of the stock was my own or came from morguefile.com

:faint: It's beautiful! The wings look so ethereal and fragile. I like the gloomy, slightly sorrowful feeling you portray here. It has that seemingly magical touch you seem to give to all your pictures.

Once again, I truly feel honoured that you have used my stock. And sorry that I didn't send you my email as you asked, I was out of town for the weekend and only got to read it today. Just so that you don't think I ignored you or something.

Hope you are feeling better!

Thank you. Glad you like it :D

It's ok, I didn't think you were ignoring me, you're too nice of a person for that. :)

And I'll still gladly send you the full sized image.

I like to take a texture image with lots of color and varition and gaussin blur it a lot so that it's just blurred colors and light and set it as an overlay, or soft light or something. And it helps with the blending. Also, I tend to duplicate the layers, blur them some, and set them to screen or soft light. It really helps all of it blend together.

Plus you can try using a program called Neat Image that will soften noise and probably the edges too. You can do a search for it, and get the free version.

Thanks beautiful
