Geisha Fan Iby ~kedralynn

This is a tribute to the last all Japanese speaking generation of my family. They're slowing dying out and I miss them all very much. But the values and the culture that they showed me will live on

Featuring my Great Aunt Yuki's fan. It's old and fragile. The bottom half is made of thin wood slats and the top half is fabric. All then painted.

Also featuring the beautiful soft fabric that once belonged to my Grandma Shirley Yagi and was rescued by me when their house was sold.
