This is from a photoshoot that I call the Cocoon Series. Because the original idea was for this very image here.
The first picture is a before photo. Me, wrapping myself up in a cocoon, hiding my face, wrapped in shadows, hoping to emerge a beautiful butterfly. The second picture is the emergence from the cocoon. The breaking away from the ugliness. Showing my face and looking at peace. More photos from this series can be found in my journal.
